KSR Today: More preseason hoops plus Louisville's punishment

Good morning, folks! Get ready for a busy Thursday on this here website. Not only does the Kentucky men’s basketball team return to Rupp Arena for the second of its two preseason exhibitions, but we’ll also learn the final ruling on the University of Louisville’s “pay-for-play” scandal from five years ago. Louisville faces one Level I violation and six Level II violations for alleged recruiting infractions, including offering $100,000 for five-star prospect Brian Bowen through Adidas. Former head coach Rick Pitino faces a Level II charge in the case.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Louisville is expected to receive a laughable minor slap on the wrist.
