Good morning, folks! Somehow, someway, we’ve all made it through yet another summer offseason with limited sports action. And while we’re not completely out of the woods just yet, only a couple more weeks separate us from the beginning of the college football season. But for the state of Kentucky as a whole, football season begins today.
Two games between Newport-Mason County and Russellville-Butler County will kickoff the 2022 season this evening. The real action picks up with a fury on Friday night though, with — well, the rest of the state taking for the field for their respective season debuts.
