Spooky Season sure is one way to describe what we saw last night at Rupp Arena. My goodness, what a train wreck, Kentucky getting mollywhopped by Georgetown to wrap up exhibition play with a final score of 84-70. There really wasn’t much of anything positive to take away from the loss — Mo Dioubate’s effort through the final horn, no matter what the scoreboard told him, maybe? — outside of the fact that it doesn’t count on the record or resume. The Wildcats shot terribly because the looks were terrible, driven by the lack of ball movement and spacing with two primary handlers out.
