The only sound I want to hear before I’ve had my morning caffeine is the TODAY Show, but today, I’m making an exception. Three of Eastern Kentucky’s most famous musicians are coming together tonight at Rupp Arena to raise money for their homeland. The Kentucky Rising concert featuring Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam, and Tyler Childers starts at 7 p.m. Limited tickets are still available on Ticketmaster and if I didn’t have work responsibilities this afternoon, I’d entertain driving up to enjoy what is sure to be a special night at Rupp.
