Kentucky is no longer expected to land Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms.
Sources tell KSR that Haarms, a 7-foot-3, 250-pound center native of Amsterdam, is no longer leaning toward Kentucky and is now expected to choose BYU when he announces his commitment on Thursday.
At the time of Davion Mintz’s commitment nearly two weeks ago, the Kentucky coaching staff felt confident in their position with the 7-foot-3 center out of Purdue, and that confidence had grown leading up to this week.
