KSR Sources: Jaland Lowe's injury may require surgery, but not only option

Kentucky may be without its starting point guard for the long haul — but it’s not a guarantee, sources tell KSR.

Jaland Lowe reinjured his shoulder in practice on Thursday and all parties involved are now weighing options regarding the next steps, one being surgery that could end his season after just two games. It’s not the only path forward, though, and those close to the junior guard are hopeful he can find a way to play again in 2025-26.

KSR+ first broke the news of Lowe’s injury Thursday afternoon, then again regarding the severity on Friday morning.
