KSR GAMEDAY: Kentucky Hosts Texas for the First Time

The New World Order of college football has plenty of positives and negatives. One big positive for Kentucky season-ticket holders? They get to see big names like Texas at Kroger Field.

For the very first time, the Longhorns will take the gridiron in Lexington for a football game. Texas won the previous two meetings, a 7-6 victory in the 1951 season opener and last year’s 31-14 win at DKR. The Horns are bringing with them a bona fide celebrity at quarterback, Arch Manning.

Hyped as the next big thing in college football, Manning did not start the season like a bat out of hell.
