The natural elements did its best to spoil Week 2 of Kentucky high school football, but the show found a way to go on (for most of the state, at least).
Unfortunately, the Kroger KSR Game of the Week between No. 21 Woodford County and Simon Kenton was one of the few casualties. Thunderstorms in Versailles throughout Friday night forced the game into a cancelation — one of the few across the state that was outright canceled due to poor weather conditions. The game will not be made up, either.
But in spite of that, there was still plenty of exciting high school football action to talk about.
