Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear sounds as eager as Big Blue Nation to get college football started. When asked what it would take to see a packed Kroger Field this fall, Beshear pointed to an elusive and essential factor: a vaccine.
The Wildcats are scheduled to open the season Sept. 5 at home against Eastern Michigan, and would hit the road for a Sept. 12 game against Florida in the Swamp. Whether or when either of those games, or the ones to follow, will happen this fall is an unknown.
