KHSAA: Henry Clay wins 11th Region, Male wins 7th Region

Clinging to a one-point lead, Henry Clay missed the front end of the bonus, but instead of Frederick Douglass getting a shot to win the game, Kyan Miller took away their chance. Miller got in between two Broncos to secure the rebound. He was quickly fouled and sent to the line to shoot the bonus. He drained two huge free throws to push Henry Clay’s lead to 39-36 with 36 seconds remaining.

Miller then got a deflection that led to a Michael Hawkins steal. The Blue Devils missed the front end of the bonus, though, allowing Douglass one last chance to tie.
