Despite only one ranked battle in KHSAA’s week nine slate, there was no shortage of action with three weeks to go until kickoff of the 2021 playoffs.

No. 18 Owensboro (7-1) def. No. 22 Graves County (6-2) 35-28
KHSAA’s only ranked battle this week proved to be the best as Owensboro won on a last-second touchdown by Tramel Barksdale from 10-yards out. Barksdale finished with three scores on 155 yards rushing on the night.
