I am told by a source that George Rogers Clark High School is close to making a big time hire for their football program.
It sounds like Joe Chirico is stepping down at Paintsville to take the GRC job. One source says Chirico has told players he is leaving.
Chirico just let the Tigers to the 1A state championship with a 10-2 record.
GRC is coming off a 3-5 season at the 6A level.
