You remember Kevin Knox II, right? The star scorer on the 2017-18 Kentucky team, whom the New York Knicks drafted with the 9th overall pick in the NBA draft, notably ahead of his teammate and future All-everything Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? He is also fond of using “II” as a generational suffix instead of “Jr.” In some sort of galactic time warp, this will be Knox’s 8th year playing professional basketball, and he just turned 26 years old in August. He now has a new home, as he signed with the Windy City Bulls, Chicago’s G League affiliate.
