In the overtime loss to Texas, Kentucky starting tailback Seth McGowan had to make a quick trip to the hospital before returning to the lineup. The former Oklahoma transfer made a key play in the game-tying two-minute drive in the fourth quarter after his return. However, that injury lingered.
The class of 2020 recruit with 1,669 career rushing yards was a game-time decision last week and ultimately was unable to go due to some grip issues. However, Kentucky expects him back in the lineup against Auburn for Saturday’s Week 10 tilt.
On “SEC Nation”, Tom Hart reported that McGowan “was limited throughout practice this weeek” but is expected to play in the game at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday.
