SEC Network gives each of the Southeastern Conference’s fourteen member institutions a dedicated day of 24-hour programming every July. The daily “takeovers” fill two weeks of content leading into SEC Media Days, giving the network’s employees a much-needed rest during downtime in collegiate athletics.
This year, the takeovers run from this Saturday, July 1, through Friday, July 14, the weekend before SEC Kickoff in Nashville. And last night, the network released each school’s appointed date and two of the programming highlights that will anchor that school’s 24-hour window.
The University of Kentucky’s SEC Network takeover is set for Thursday, July 6, and two of the game replays that were highlighted in the schedule release are Kentucky Football’s Governor’s Cup win on November 26, 2022, and Kentucky Volleyball’s victory over Florida on November 20, 2022.
