Kentucky’s lone bright spot in loss at Georgia: Brandon Boston Jr.

You can pin Kentucky’s embarrassing 63-62 loss at Georgia on plenty of players, the coaching staff, individual plays and moments, there was a lot to be frustrated with. But the blame can’t be placed on the play of freshman guard Brandon Boston Jr., something we haven’t been able to say often this season.

Coming in averaging just 11.5 points on 34.7% shooting and 17.5% from three to go with 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest, UK head coach John Calipari took the former five-star guard out of the starting lineup in hopes of creating some semblance of offensive efficiency both at the top of the rotation and off the bench.
