Kentucky womens tennis splits SEC matchups in Mississippi, moves to 6-4

Kentucky womens tennis picked up its first SEC win after defeating Mississippi State 5-2 on Friday, while falling to Ole Miss 0-4 in Oxford, Mississippi, on Sunday.

First, the Wildcats traveled to Starkville, Mississippi, to take on the Bulldogs to kick off SEC play for the season.

The team jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point, starting with juniors Makayla Mills and Elizabeth Stevens beating Emmanouela Antonaki and Chloe Cirotte 6-4.
