No. 23 Kentucky women’s golf traveled to Hilton Head, SC this week to participate in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
The Wildcats struggled on day one finishing in 14th out of 17 participating teams.
Leading the way for Kentucky after the first round was senior Jensen Castle who was tied for 12th shooting one over par, 72. Castle started off strong going –1 on the front nine but had three bogeys on the back.
The next closest Wildcat was Laney Frye who was five over par with a 76.
