Kentucky women’s basketball continues road woes, falls at Georgia

Kentucky women’s basketball (9-14, 2-7) dropped its fourth straight game on Sunday afternoon, losing to the Georgia Bulldogs (11-11, 2-7) 72-65 inside of Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia.

Due to the result, the Wildcats are now 0-7 on the road this season as they are yet to win a game outside of big blue territory.

Kentucky entered the “Peach State” 1-4 in its last five with hopes of taking advantage of the struggling Georgia team, which entered the contest on a seven-game losing streak.

In an effort to win against the Bulldogs, Kentucky rolled out a starting lineup consisting of Brooklynn Miles, Ajae Petty, Amiya Jenkins, Maddie Scherr and Emma King.
