One of the top quarterbacks in the SEC is expected to stick around for another season. On3’s Pete Nakos reported this weekend that LaNorris Sellers is finalizing a deal to remain at South Carolina for the 2026 season.
Sellers was one of the top-paid quarterbacks in college football this fall, earning approximately $1.8 million in Columbia. That investment did not translate to wins.
A Heisman frontrunner in the preseason, Sellers had flashes of outstanding play, but an inconsistent supporting cast. He completed just 60% of his passes for 2,437 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
