It was the first matchup of top-five teams this college basketball season, and it was clear who the superior team this time around. The Cats scored 17 points off 16 Blue Devil turnovers and had an 18-4 advantage in fast-break points as they used speed and athleticism to pull away for a 74-63 victory.
Point guard Tyler Ulis had 18 points and six assists, Jamal Murray dropped 16 and Isaiah Briscoe added 12 as the Wildcats placed four players in double figures.
