It’s arguably one of the biggest football games of Kentucky’s season.
The Tennessee Volunteers come into town, losers of four of their last five games and riding a three-game losing streak. They come into a night game at Kroger Field against Kentucky, looking to bounce back from an embarrassing defeat in Starkville to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Although Tennessee is riding a losing streak coming into the game, the Volunteers have defeated the Wildcats 31 of the last 32 times that they have faced off against one another, including the last five matchups.
The Volunteers are seemingly on the verge of firing their head coach, Butch Jones, after failing to produce an SEC East championship despite highly-ranked recruiting classes and lofty preseason projections.
