Tipoff for Kentucky Women’s Basketball’s NCAA Tournament game has been announced.
The six-seeded Wildcats will take on the 11-seeded Princeton Tigers this coming Saturday, March 19 at 4:00 p.m. EST up in Bloomington, IN in the opening round of the Bridgeport Region. The game will take place inside of Assembly Hall and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Kentucky earned an automatic qualifying bid after beating No. 1 South Carolina in the 2022 SEC Tournament. UK had been projected as a seven-seed leading up to Sunday’s Selection Show but was surprisingly bumped up to a six-seed line that gives them a more favorable draw moving forward.
