Some unfortunate injury news came from the Kentucky women’s basketball program on Thursday regarding Dominika Paurová, who missed all of last year following an ACL tear in the offseason.
Per UK release, Paurová will be ruled out for this upcoming season as well after recently suffering a lower leg injury. It marks her second consecutive season she’ll be spending on the sidelines due to injury.
“University of Kentucky women’s basketball redshirt sophomore guard Dominika Paurová tore her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and is out indefinitely,” the team said.
In her previous stop at Oregon State, Paurová played a key role in getting the Beavers to the Elite Eight in 2024, where they fell to 1-seed South Carolina, who finished that year 38-0.
