Lincoln County’s own is coming back for another season in the blue and white.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Kentucky women’s basketball program announced that senior guard Emma King will return for one more season of college hoops. The 5-foot-10 native of Stanford, KY has already played four seasons with the Wildcats but is taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted to student-athletes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
King, who originally committed to UK back in the summer of 2017, will enter the 2023-24 season as a fifth-year graduate student.
