What the first half of Kentucky vs. Nicholls lacked in highlights, it made up for it in the second. Collin Chandler‘s dunk with five minutes to go is far and away the best highlight of the night.
After hitting back-to-back threes, the two-time champion of the Big Blue Madness dunk contest took flight to push Kentucky’s lead to 32, the largest of the night. It was one of eight dunks for the Cats tonight, and the exclamation point on a strong second-half performance. And thank goodness for that, because the first half was brutal.
