ESPN announced the match between No. 13 Kentucky and No. 3 Louisville was the most-viewed regular season volleyball match ever on ESPN networks with 302K viewers. The fans in the stands also made waves with the seventh-largest crowd for a UK volleyball game at Memorial Coliseum.
It was just the fourth ever regular season match to air on ESPN. The Cats and the Cards provided a thriller as UK rallied in set four to force a fifth and decisive match.
