The Kentucky Wildcats seemed to take a few strides forward on Friday in a 20-point victory over Mount St. Mary’s.
But it seems obvious, especially if you listened to Coach Cal after the game, that they still have a long way to go. Their next learning experience will come on Sunday when the Lamar Cardinals come to town.
The Wildcats were led in scoring on Friday by a player that is completely new to the team, Junior Nick Richards. Richards has looked like Kentucky’s best player in most of their outings so far, and will have another prime opportunity against Lamar since they only have one player over 6-8.
