Things wouldn’t be as tough for Craig Skinner’s squad in 2021.
The No. 2 Wildcats (21-1) swept the Lady Toppers (25-20, 25-16, 25-10) in a match that didn’t start until after 11:30 p.m. Sunday and didn’t finish up until shortly after 1 a.m Monday to advance to the Elite Eight.
This is UK’s second appearance in the Elite Eight under Skinner.
