Kentucky trails Georgia 14-7 at halftime

After one half of play, your No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats trail the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs 14-7. The Cats held the Dawgs scoreless for a quarter, but a very big missed opportunity came back to haunt them.

Kentucky’s defense, specifically Jacquez Jones, allowed Georgia to pounce on what they believed was an incomplete pass by Stetson Bennett; however, upon review, it was ruled a fumble, and a 3rd and 13 turned into 3rd and 5. The Bulldogs scored on the next play, a 19-yard pass from Bennett to James Cook. After a Kentucky three-and-out, Georgia scored again, Zamir White gashing the Cats’ defense for a 24-yard romp to the end zone.
