The Kentucky Softball Wildcats pounded Northern Kentucky 13-0 in five innings at Highland Heights this afternoon.
A big day at the plate for several wildcats was the story as Tatum Spangler shut out the Norse for 5 innings.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The No. 23/24 Kentucky softball team exploded for 13 runs on 14 hits Tuesday afternoon in a 13-0 win over the Northern Kentucky Norse for its 25th win of the season.
Senior catcher Jenny Schaper hit two home runs in the game, and tied her career record for RBI in a game with five, as she hit both a two-run home run in the top of the fourth and then a three-run home run in the top of the fifth.
