A nervous morning ended in happiness for the Kentucky baseball team. The Wildcats (29-24) slipped to the right side of the bubble and ended up as a 3-seed in the Clemson Regional.
Host Clemson is the No. 1 seed and will face No. 4 USC Upstate. The Wildcats will battle No. 3 West Virginia.
This is the first time in program history that Kentucky has made the NCAA Tournament in three consecutive years.
Kentucky and West Virginia are scheduled to play Friday at noon ET and the game will air live on ESPNU.
