The Kentucky women’s basketball team announced the signings of five-star forward Savvy Swords and four-star guard Emily McDonald on Thursday.
Swords and McDonald will join the Wildcats program as freshmen in 2026-27.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program inked two players to its incoming class to tip off the early signing period, head coach Kenny Brooks announced Thursday. Four-star, 6-0 guard Emily McDonald and five-star, 6-1 forward Savvy Swords will join the program as freshmen in 2026-27.
