Kentucky secures first win in Bloomington since 1995; dominates Indiana 3-0

No. 2 Kentucky continued its dominant unbeaten season with a 3-0 victory against Indiana, with the win marking the first in Bloomington this century.

Kentucky’s defense showed out in the win, pitching a shutout with eight shots on goal allowed in the match.

Freshman goalkeeper Casper Mols recorded two saves in the 90 minutes to solidify the dominant defensive performance.

The match started off slow, with neither team being able to find the back of the net before senior Eythor Bjorgolfsson finally busted the game open with a goal in the 28’ with the assist from sophomore Casper Grenig.
