Well, that didn’t last long.
On Jan. 7 the University of Kentucky hired Jemal Singleton to coach the Wildcats’ running backs and special teams. Sources told KSR on Feb. 8 that Singleton will be the next running backs coach and assistant head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Singleton most recently worked on the Cincinnati Bengals’ coaching staff. A former player and coach at the Air Force Academy, he said shortly after he was hired that his return to the college ranks was long overdue.
“I’m a college coach at heart,” he said last month.
