The University of Kentucky has released a statement about the Chris Rodriguez situation from earlier this afternoon.
According to the statement, the arrest warrant was the result of a scheduling mishap between Rodriguez and his attorney.
In fact, Rodriguez wasn’t even required to appear in court.
UK’s statement regarding Chris Rodriguez’s situation this afternoon:
“We have confirmed the issue was a scheduling mistake in Chris’ attorney’s office. They are diligently working to get it corrected. The student-athlete was not required to attend. “
