Kentucky ready to turn the page to the Louisville game

Coming off back-to-back losses, the road just gets harder for Kentucky. After a four-day break for Christmas, the Cats will return to Lexington to prepare for a showdown with No. 3 Louisville. According to Nate Sestina, the game was already a topic of conversation in the locker room following the loss to Ohio State.

“Pretty solemn,” Sestina said of the team’s mood. “But we have a team full of guys that are ready to play and the game coming up is huge for us, it’s an in state rivalry, it’s a big, another big toughness game for us, and the tension around that game is so much more and we know that and the attitude for them coming in, the attitude for us coming in, it’s kind of the same thing, it’s two big dogs going after it and whoever is hungrier at the end of the game is going to get the bones as Kenny Payne said to us tonight.
