Kentucky quarterback Zach Calzada announced his retirement from football earlier this week.
“This wasn’t how I thought my career was supposed to end, but I walk away from this game with my chest up and my head held high,” Calzada said in a short statement. “To all those who have believed in me, invested in me, and been a friend to me… Thank you.”
