The Kentucky Wildcats have a new target in the Class of 2020, and it’s actually a teammate of Kahlil Whitney.
According to Corey Evans, Kentucky has offered a scholarship to junior big man Clifford Omoruyi.
The 6-10, 230-pound Omoruyi hails from Rosselle (NJ) and plays at Roselle Catholic alongside Whitney, who is committed to play for Kentucky next season. He holds offers from the Florida Gators, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Syracuse Orange and West Virginia Mountaineers among others.
This is the first public interest of any kind that Kentucky has had in Omoruyi, though John Calipari and his staff have undoubtedly seen him plenty from watching watching Whitney.
