The Kentucky offense came out hot on a cold Saturday afternoon at Kroger Field. To quote Will Levis, “The cold never bothered us anyway.”
On the opening drive of the game Levis marched the Wildcats 65 yards down the field in only eight plays to score a touchdown, a 8-yard screen pass to Chris Rodriguez. The only drive of the day for UK’s star running back, he caught two passes for 21 yards and rushed for 11 yards on two carries.
The first Kentucky football spring game at Kroger Field since 2019, it did not feel like spring.
