Kentucky MBB target Bryson Howard picks another Blue Blood

Four-star prospect Bryson Howard was down to a trio of Blue Bloods, but he won’t be wearing Kentucky blue once he makes his way to college.

Howard announced his commitment to Duke on Tuesday afternoon, choosing the Blue Devils over the Wildcats and North Carolina. After holding no high-major scholarship offers as recently as early May, Howard used the summer to establish himself as one of the top recruits in the 2026 cycle. The Rivals Industry Ranking considers the 6-foot-4 shooting guard as the 16th-best high school senior in the country.

The son of former NBA player Josh Howard, who was born and raised in North Carolina, Bryson officially visited all three of his finalists in September and October before ultimately choosing Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils.
