Kentucky, Louisville tickets will cost more due to new sales tax

The cost of tickets for University of Louisville and University of Kentucky sporting events is increasing.

Each of the schools announced Friday that it will be required to add an additional 6 percent to ticket prices as a result of a sales tax by the Kentucky Department of Revenue beginning July 1.
