With a backcourt now in place, Kentucky’s 2021-22 roster is starting to turn heads. ESPN’s Jeff Borzello boosted the Cats ten spots in his new Way-Too-Early Rankings, from No. 19 to No. 9. Borzello praised John Calipari’s roster additions of Sahvir Wheeler, TyTy Washington, Kellan Grady, and CJ Fredrick, adding that if Davion Mintz comes back, the Cats could rise even higher on his list.
Entering the offseason, it was clear John Calipari wanted to make major changes within the program. With the dust presumably settled, both the roster and staff have undergone a complete overhaul.
