No. 6 Fern Creek is back in the state tournament for the 3rd time in 4 years after defeating #21 Jeffersontown 48-43 in the finals of the 6th region tournament. The Tigers were state semifinalists in 2017 and quarterfinalists in 2018. They are led by a trio of juniors: Jaden Rogers, Darrius Washington and Zek Montgomery. All three were key substitutes during the 2018 tournament run. Rogers led the way against Jeffersontown with 15 points. Washington had 9 and Montgomery finished with 8.
