Kentucky vs. Wright State looked like it would be like pretty much any other non-conference home game against a mid-major school, but it wasn’t. Prior to tipoff, UK revealed that forward Teonni Key would be unavailable for the game due to what they described as “a lingering injury from the fall and is day-to-day“.
For the first time this season, a starter was out. Key has started at the four all year long, but against Wright State, it was Tonie Morgan, Asia Boone, Jordan Obi, Amelia Hassett and Clara Strack who started.
