Stetson Bennett IV had no one to throw to on a third-down play last Saturday, and Tennessee Vols linebacker Kivon Bennett rushed toward him off the left edge of the line.
The Georgia quarterback scrambled out of the right side of the pocket and outran Kivon Bennett and fellow linebacker Roman Harrison for the first down on a 10-yard run. He scored one play later after on an 8-yard quarterback draw.
Stetson Bennett’s running ability gives Georgia’s offense a wrinkle, but Tennessee’s task in containing quarterback runs will be more substantial when the 17th-ranked Vols (2-1) face Kentucky (1-2) on Saturday (noon ET, SEC Network) at Neyland Stadium.
