Kentucky Football Shuts Out Youngstown State 31-0

It took the Wildcats a while to warm up, but once they rocking and rolling there was no slowing down Kentucky. Mark Stoops picked up victory No. 62 Saturday afternoon with a 31-0 win over Youngstown State. The win is the first shut out of the Mark Stoops era. Kentucky’s last shut out was a 42-0 win over Miami (OH) in the 2009 season-opener.

After a pair of punts and an interception, Kentucky finally got on the scoreboard with a Will Levis quarterback sneak. The Wildcats scored on four of five possessions to open up an insurmountable lead on the FCS foe from Stoops’ hometown.
