DJ Lagway came into the 2025 season with all the hype, and rightfully so. A former 5-star stud entering his sophomore year, he was surrounded by offensive talent. The massive leap he was supposed to take... well, he just stumbled all the way back down the stairs.
Lagway's performance against Kentucky was a disaster. He was responsible for three first-half interceptions, with each looking worse than the last. His throws were off-target, his decisions were poor, and the Kentucky defense looked like they had his playbook. He now leads the SEC with 12 interceptions on the season.
The performance was so bad that Florida's interim staff had no choice but to pull him at halftime of the historic 38-7 beatdown.
