Kentucky star linebacker Jordan Jones has returned to practice for the first time since injuring his shoulder against Eastern Kentucky, head coach Mark Stoops said Tuesday.
Jones was in a no contact jersey today, but with the bye week he should be on track to play against the Mississippi St. Bulldogs.
Jones had eight tackles and a forced fumble in that EKU game. He was a preseason All-SEC selection, and was put on several watch lists as well. He’s a must-have for the Cats going into the second half of the season.
Also recovering is quarterback Luke Wright, who suffered what appeared to be a seizure on the sideline during the Missouri game.
