Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops has added former West Virginia player Daikiel Shorts Jr. to his coaching staff as the team’s wide receivers coach.
Shorts spent the last three seasons as the wide receivers coach for Dana Holgorsen at Houston. Prior to that, he worked two years Director of Player Development at Houston.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops announced Tuesday the hiring of Daikiel (pronounced duh-KEL) Shorts Jr. to coach the wide receivers.
“Daikiel Shorts is a young and talented coach who is a great addition to our program,” Stoops said.
